Don’t fear yourself

Don't fear yourself.

Sounds pretty simple but we're always falling into the trap of fearing who we truly are. We put on the masks and the capes of addiction or lies to cover our true identity. Carl Jung gives us two pieces of wisdom to help guide this thinking.

The first, " I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become."

The second, " The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely."

We're so scared to accept ourselves because of who we think we are or what has happened to us. But that couldn't be further from the truth. We are who we truly are. To find who we truly are we must let go of the fear and hold onto the strength to be who you were meant to be.
